Eggsiting times!

|

We are pleased to announce the arrival of 2 ducklings! A third egg was incubated but sadly, the duckling inside it did not survive.

We are, however, happy to welcome our 2 new friends into the world and the children are now thinking of names for them.

Equality Policy : Word file (131.6k)

We would welcome input into our draft Equality policy which is attached above. If you have any suggestions to make then please contact school.  An action plan has been produced based on our evaluation of the necessary next steps for equal opps in our school and is available for parents to view below.

Many thanks to parents who completed the recent questionnaire.  We do take account of your comments and would like to share the results with you.  Please download the document from the link above to find out how families have responded to the questions asked.  It is particularly pleasing to see that the level of positive responses have increased over the last 3 years.  Many thanks to families for taking the time to respond to our self evaluation in this way.

Soccer Success!!!

1000 schools took part in the Premiership competition to win the title of Champion in the schools Premiership.  40 schools represented the Premiership clubs and we played as Blackburn Rovers. St. Peter's played 4 matches, winning 3 and drawing 1 to win in their table.  They then played Fulham in the semi-finals only to be beaten 1-0.  Fulham went on to win overall.

We are so proud of our team who, in the end, came 3rd out of 1000 teams!!  They played with enthusiasm, dedication and spirit and were so close to becoming champions.  To us, they are champions anyway!!

Watch the video below to find out about their amazing experience at the Emirates stadium!

A Message from the Headteacher

St. Peter's sits on the edge of the West Pennine Hills in the town of Chorley.  We aim to nurture children within a Christian context so that they may develop into caring and responsible adults who will develop the capacity to succeed in an ever changing and complex world.  High expectations are a key feature of the school and we endeavour to develop the pupils' skills  within an enriched curriculum.

I do hope you take the time to read more about us and discover more of the lively, fun and dynamic curriculum we aim to provide for our pupils.  You are very welcome to come and visit us to find out more about the school.  Please telephone the office should you wish to make further enquiries or download our prospectus from this site.

Thank you for visiting us!
